IM Louisville

I was planning on my goals post.  But I'm sick.  I've had a fever for 2 days. It's only 100 today, down from 101 since Thursday.  And I have thrush.  Not enough sleep.  Too much stress.  And a four day thing of prednisone last week. I'm 75% better.  I hope tomorrow will be at least 90%.  I'm hoping Tylenol and beet beer will help.

Anyway.  I'm here. I'm racing tomorrow.  I plan on starting the race in the back of the line and take advantage of passing a lot of people on the bike.  The bike is not as hilly as expected.  I forgot that I don't really consider Kona hilly.  Rolling hills.  So there's not a lot of flat.  But there's a lot of downhill :-)  And the temp is expected to be high of 85.  Just perfect for me.

I realized this morning I didn't have a race hat.  So I hit up the thrift store and bought one.  My sister is planning on bedazzling it tonight. She won't tell me what it will look like.  I bought a spare just in case I don't like the bling.

Best of luck tomorrow. You'll do great even with being sick!

Beer & beet?! I'm in love :)
